Cookie Policy

COOKIE POLICY

Effective date: September 1, 2026

1. Who we are

KOZATTI Prestação de Serviços e Comércio, Lda. (“KOZATTI”, “we”, “us” or “our”) is an Angolan company providing industrial procurement and supply, temporary manpower and related maintenance support. We serve oil and gas, energy, mining, marine, construction, manufacturing and other major industries. Our website includes corporate information, a product catalogue, enquiry and contact forms, secure user functions and a registration area for job seekers and candidates.

2. Purpose and scope

This Cookie Policy explains how KOZATTI uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or interact with our website, product catalogue, candidate registration pages and other online services that link to this Policy (together, the “Website”). It explains what these technologies are, why they are used, how long they may remain and how you can control them.

This Policy should be read with the KOZATTI Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data, the purposes and legal grounds for processing, international transfers, retention, security and your rights under applicable Angolan law, including Law No. 22/11 of 17 June on the Protection of Personal Data.

3. What are cookies and similar technologies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your computer, mobile phone, tablet or other device when you visit a website. They allow a website to recognise a browser or device, maintain a secure session, remember choices and understand how the website is used.

We may also use similar technologies, such as pixels, tags, web beacons, local storage, software development kits and server logs. These technologies may collect or generate information such as an IP address, device or browser identifiers, operating system, language, approximate location derived from IP, referring page, pages viewed, links selected, dates and times, form progress and cookie preferences. Where this information identifies or can reasonably be linked to an individual, KOZATTI treats it as personal data.

4. First-party, third-party, session and persistent cookies

Type Meaning
First-party cookies Set by or for KOZATTI on the domain you are visiting. They may support security, navigation, forms, account access and preferences.
Third-party cookies Set through the Website by another organisation, for example an analytics, video, map, social-media, recruitment or advertising provider. That provider may process information under its own privacy terms.
Session cookies Temporary cookies that normally expire when you close your browser. They may maintain a secure session or preserve information while you move between pages.
Persistent cookies Remain until their stated expiry date or until you delete them. They may remember preferences, measure repeat visits or support other consented functions.

5. Why KOZATTI uses cookies

Depending on the Website features in use, KOZATTI may use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • deliver pages, balance traffic, prevent misuse and maintain the security and integrity of the Website;
  • keep users signed in and protect candidate or customer accounts;
  • preserve information entered across multi-step candidate registration, CV upload, product enquiry, supplier registration or contact forms;
  • remember language, region, accessibility, display and cookie-consent choices;
  • measure visits, navigation, catalogue searches, application completion and technical performance so we can improve content and services;
  • display optional maps, videos, social-media content, live chat or other embedded features; and
  • measure campaigns or provide relevant business-to-business advertising, but only where such technologies are deployed and the required consent has been obtained.
Sensitive-data safeguard: Cookies should not be used to store CVs, identification documents, medical or fitness records, payroll information, certificates, banking details or other sensitive candidate or worker information. Those records must remain in controlled application or HR systems.

6. Categories of cookies we may use

Category Purpose and examples Consent position
Strictly necessary Security, session management, load balancing, fraud prevention, form continuity, account authentication and recording your consent choices. Some Website services cannot operate without them. Always active where necessary to provide a service you request or protect the Website.
Functional / preference Remember language, location, display choices, saved filters or optional user-interface settings; enable optional chat, maps or media. Used only with consent where required, unless strictly necessary for a requested feature.
Analytics / performance Measure visits, traffic sources, page performance, catalogue use and form completion using aggregated or pseudonymous identifiers. Disabled until consent, unless a genuinely anonymous measurement method is used and legally permitted.
Advertising / targeting Measure campaigns, limit repeated advertisements, build audiences or personalise advertising across websites. Disabled until explicit consent. KOZATTI should not use this category unless there is a defined business need.
Social media / embedded content Enable content or sharing tools provided by third parties. The provider may recognise a visitor or logged-in account. Disabled until consent unless the requested content can be delivered without tracking.

7. Cookies in KOZATTI’s business workflows

7.1 Product catalogue and procurement enquiries

Cookies may maintain catalogue filters, product selections, quote-request progress, language settings and secure form submission. Information submitted in a request for quotation or product enquiry is governed by the Privacy Policy and is not treated as cookie data merely because a cookie maintains the session.

7.2 Candidate and job-seeker registration

Strictly necessary cookies may support secure login, session continuity, CSRF protection, multi-page applications and upload functions. Analytics should be configured to avoid recording CV contents, identity numbers, free-text answers, health information, certificates or other application data. Recruitment pages should not use advertising pixels unless KOZATTI has completed a documented assessment and obtained valid consent.

7.3 Industrial and oil-and-gas users

Customer, supplier and workforce users may access the Website from corporate networks, vessels, offshore facilities or controlled project environments. Blocking optional cookies should not prevent access to public HSE, quality, compliance, catalogue or contact information. Account security controls may remain necessary.

8. Consent and the legal basis for use

KOZATTI uses strictly necessary cookies where they are required to provide a service requested by you, transmit communications, maintain security or record your choices. Where cookies are not strictly necessary, KOZATTI will request consent before placing or reading them, to the extent required by applicable law and KOZATTI’s adopted privacy standard.

The consent tool should give equally clear choices to accept all optional cookies, reject all optional cookies or select categories. Consent must be freely given, specific and informed, and you may withdraw it at any time. Refusing optional cookies will not prevent you from using the core Website, although an optional feature may not work as intended.

9. Managing or withdrawing your choices

You can review or change your choices at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Website footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal. Your updated choice should take effect without requiring you to create an account.

Most browsers also allow you to view, delete or block cookies through their privacy or security settings. Blocking all cookies may affect secure login, multi-page forms, saved preferences and other Website functions. Browser controls differ by provider; consult the current help pages for your browser.

  • Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge
  • Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org
  • Apple Safari: support.apple.com/safari

10. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Some browsers send “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals. Because technical and legal standards for these signals differ, KOZATTI will respond where required by applicable law and where its consent technology supports the signal. Your selection in the KOZATTI Cookie Settings tool remains the primary method for managing optional cookies on this Website.

11. International transfers and third parties

Some third-party technology providers may process cookie identifiers or usage data outside Angola. Before enabling a provider, KOZATTI should assess its purpose, contractual safeguards, data locations, retention and security and apply the requirements of Angolan law for international transfers. Third parties may act as KOZATTI’s service providers or, for certain functions, as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

KOZATTI does not control cookies placed when you leave our Website and visit another website. Links to manufacturers, clients, suppliers, recruitment platforms or social networks are governed by those organisations’ policies.

12. How long cookies remain

Session cookies normally expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for the period shown in the cookie register or until you delete them. KOZATTI will select the shortest duration reasonably required for each purpose, periodically review persistent cookies and remove cookies that are obsolete or no longer justified. A provider may change its cookie duration; the live cookie register should therefore be reviewed after material Website changes and at least every six months.

13. Security and data minimisation

KOZATTI applies reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect cookie-related information. Measures may include encrypted transmission, secure and HttpOnly attributes for authentication cookies where appropriate, access controls, limited retention, suppression of sensitive form fields from analytics, IP masking where supported and contractual controls over service providers. No internet service is completely secure, but KOZATTI will investigate suspected misuse and respond in accordance with its incident procedures and applicable law.

14. Children

The Website and KOZATTI’s industrial, procurement and recruitment services are not directed to children. KOZATTI does not knowingly use cookies to profile children or deliver targeted advertising to them. If we learn that cookie-related information has been linked to a child contrary to this Policy, we will take appropriate steps to delete or de-identify it.

15. Changes to this Policy

KOZATTI may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in law, technology, Website functionality or our use of providers. The revised effective date and version will be shown at the beginning of the Policy. Where a change materially affects consent choices, KOZATTI will request consent again where appropriate.
